Critical Race Theory, Toxic in the Home

eikon is a strategic publication, a product of the Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood. I did this little piece on the heels of one I wrote on CRT and DEI for the journal of the Southern Evangelical Seminary (see note at this site). The eikon issue in which my piece appears, Spring 2025, draws from a wide (and deep) pool of conservative scholars committed to faithful "biblical anthropology." As for my article, I draw on my the example of my parents. Yes, they were white, but their godly leadership provided a strong and healthful rebuke to the conceits of CRT as a prescription for child raising.
